1. Wedding Date: Sept. 6th, 2008
2. How did you and DH meet? We met on a blind date set up by my ex BFF and DH's sister-in-law's sister.
3. Where did you grow up? I was born in MA and moved to NC in the 5th grade. I lived in NC until I was 21 when I got the bright idea to return to New England. 9 years later- I'm still here.
4. Where did you go to college (if you went)? Major? I got my BS in Accounting from CCSU and my MBA from University of Hartford
5. Do you have any children? Yes, one daughter. Mariela will be 8 mo on Thanksgiving Day. We hope to have two more little ones someday.
6. Do you have any furbabies? If so, tell us about them. Yes, we have two Cocker Spaniels. Tomas is a 4yo black & white English Cocker and Lily is a 1yo brown & white American Cocker.
7. What do you do for a living? I'm a reinsurance accountant.
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hmmm, probably in a new role at work or maybe even just working PT depending on our family. I also hope to have another LO by then and maybe be pregnant with #3???
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? We actually do, but they aren't until Jan. 2012. We're planning a family cruise on Royal Caribbean out of San Juan.
It's over a year away and I. can't. wait.
10. What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? My health and my family. I'm really happy where I am right now in my life as a wife, mother, and professional.

8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
We're looking to start a family and move into a house within the next two years. I'd like to go back to school to become a Math teacher. And we are DYING to get a dog!

For my husband, my health, my family's health, my job, and my home!

2. How did you and DH meet? One of my cousins is married to his brother...met a a birthday party for their children (My cousins/his neices)

2. How did you and DH meet? Was talking to his roommate (who i met online)... Greg tried talking to me online too but since i was interested in his roommate i didn't want to meet up with him. We eventually met at a party after his roommate and i decided we should just be friends.
3. Where did you grow up? Northern NJ until the beginning of my Sophomore year of high school... then moved up to Woodbridge, CT
4. Where did you go to college (if you went)? Major? Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN for my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering... currently attending University of New Haven (part time) to get my MBA
5. Do you have any children? not yet
6. Do you have any furbabies? If so, tell us about them. Yup... 2 dogs and 2 cats... all rescue animals. Bella (Staffordshire Terrior), Remi (mutt), Fuss (female cat), Bootsa (female cat). They do not all get along so for now, the cats get to live on the second floor while the dogs live on the first floor and basement.
7. What do you do for a living? HVAC Sales Engineer for Carrier
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? hopefully will have moved up in my career into a managing position... possibly moved to either Colorado, Chicago or North Carolina... at least one kid with a second on the way
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? San Francisco in May next year for my In-Laws marriage renewal
10. What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? my wonderful husband, my family, my health, my job, and God's presence in my life

3. Where did you grow up? I was born in Belarus (former USSR), moved to Rhode Island when I was 5, then moved to CT for college
4. Where did you go to college (if you went)? Major? UConn... nursing and human development/family studies
5. Do you have any children? none yet
6. Do you have any furbabies? If so, tell us about them. many... we have an Alaskan Malamute named Onyx, a seal-point Siamese kitty named Jasper that we adopted a month ago, 2 rabbits named Monkey and Nunu, and a bunch of fish
7. What do you do for a living?I'm a registered nurse in a nursing/rehab home
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?hopefully as a maternity nurse on an LDRP wing
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? none right now. we just went to NC in October. We'll probably start planning another anniversary trip for next May at some point.

2. How did you and DH meet? In college at a party. neither of us remember that night well but knew we knew each other the next time we saw each other.

6. Do you have any furbabies? Yes, a cat named Simba
If so, tell us about them. He's a domestic shorthair with a hint of something feral/wild. He is very skittish around people (he hates DH) but yet is an alpha male. I've had him for 12 years. I got him from the SPCA in Syracuse, NY.
7. What do you do for a living? I am a cost/inventory accountant for a small manufacturing company
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In our house, with DH home and not deployed, at least 1 kid with another on the way.
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? We are going to St Lucia in April for SILs wedding. I have another week of vacation time we are trying to figure out what to do. Might rent a camp in Maine for a week in June.
10. What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? That I get to spend it with my DH, that all my friends will be in the US and not the Middle East, and that my brother is talking to the family again (long, drama filled story there).

4. Where did you go to college (if you went)? Saint Joseph College for my undergrad, Special Education, UCONN for my masters in Special Ed and I am currently at UCONN for my sixth year in School Counseling

6. Do you have any furbabies? An awesome 1 year old German Shepard/Hound/Mutt who we rescued from MI. I never had a dog growing up, just cats and I am loving every minute of it.
7. What do you do for a living? I am a High School Special Education Teacher who teaches in a self-contained program for students with Emotional Disabilities. It makes for an interesting job ;o)
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully with two kids, working as a school counselor part time
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? No
( We went on an Alaskan Cruise for our first anniversary. I think this year we are going to go camping for a week instead.
10. What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? My husband, my family and my health
I'm a little late - but it is so nice to see some actionon here - I had to respond!

2. How did you and DH meet? We are the product of a fix up. Our sister set up a big happy hour so we could meet - neither one of us wanted any part of it, even when he first asked me out - I thought he was just doing it b/c he felt like he had to!! HAHAH!... 5 years after that we were married!
3. Where did you grow up? Farmington, Connecticut
4. Where did you go to college (if you went)? Quinnipiac University - Undergrad in Marketing. MS in Organizational Leadership (done online!)
5. Do you have any children? Not yet
6. Do you have any furbabies? Sure d-o - little Damon. Our Siamese (chocolate seal point) cat.
7. What do you do for a living? Vendor/Contract Manager for an Insurance company (workers comp.)
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I don't really know.... I see at least one kid - maybe #2 on the way.... A nicer car. DH with a solid career, and me with any luck in some type of managerial role. Also - I hope that we will have done lots of traveling.
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? Not really. We desperately want to plan something for winter - 2011, but DH is in sales so we can't do that until we know he meets his quota.... Realistically it'll probably be a long weekend trip to the Carribbean in March or April.
10. What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? My new house! I'm so proud of DH and I that we were able to do it (even though we're now ridiculously poor!).... and I LOVE IT!

2. How did you and DH meet? On a party bus in San Francisco with a mutual friend. I tried to convince my BFF that he was perfect for her...6 months later we were dating. 8 months later we were moving across the country to CT. 6 years later and we're finally married!

4. Where did you go to college (if you went)? Major? JR College - California, but would love to go back for Nursing.

6. Do you have any furbabies? If so, tell us about them.Yes, two Australian Shepherds. Gypsie (11.5) & Tawny (2). Gypsie is "my" baby and she's the sweetest, most loving pup. Tawny is DH's baby. I surprised DH with her. She's a bit nuts, but we love her anyway!

8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Home daycare with children, maybe back on the W. Coast
9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? We just got back from WA, where we met our new nephew and SIL. Next trip is Vermont for New Years. It's our tradition now, since we got engaged there.
Definitely a little snowboarding and some snowshoeing.
10. What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? Thankful for love and a healthy family, especially my dear 95 yr old grandma. 2010 has been a great year for us.

2. How did you and DH meet? On a cruise, we were at a happy hour on the 2nd day and ended up hanging out the rest of the cruise. 2 months later he moved up to CT from OK to be with me.

Where do u see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully by then we will have 2 kids.

9. Do you and DH have any vacation plans in the works? Yes, our honeymoon which we have to delay for the summer but we don't know where yet
