We are doing secret santa at the school where I teach. What are some good $2-$5 items for the smaller days and a $10-$15 item for the last day??

Re: secret santa gift ideas
We do that at work, too. Since I work for a bank with 15 branches, an operations center and an administration building, HR designs the secret santa sign up sheet so everyone can list a few things they like in case they get someone they don'tknow that well.
I usually send out a small ornament, candy, individual packets of hot chocolate, decorative pens/pencils, cute socks, small, inexpensive picture frames or $5 gift cards for places like Starbucks or Panera for the days leading up to our holiday dinner. Then for the big gift I'll get them something bigger from their list, or a grouping of things such as a bottle of wine and some bottle stoppers, or maybe a cute mug with a box of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Some people even prefer gift cards so I'll get them a $20 gift card for a store or restaurant they like.
Baked goods are always good on the small days. Also, some gag gift style toys (like silly string or squash balls- the weird things you find at the Dollar Tree) are humorous and go over well. $5 gift cards for coffee shops are great.
For the larger gift, gift baskets, wine, nice Christmas decor, etc. are all good options. Have fun with it and buy stuff you would like to receive!
Hmmm, I have a lots of ideas all of which can be anywhere between $2-15 and if you have a Christmas Tree Shoppe near you or even a Big Lots, DEFINITELY try there.........holiday socks, kitchen utensils, cookie cutters, serving dishes, a Ped Egg, a holiday dvd/movie, a gas card, maybe scratch tickets....that should be enough right? LOL
I love giving lottery tickets, cute pads of paper, bookmarks, gum, travel bottle of lotion from Bath and Body Works.
This is helping me because I need to start shopping soon for our "secret pals."
At my former job, we always did something to drink one day, something to eat another day, 2 small gifts, and a big gift. That was kind of cool because you could treat your person to a hot chocolate or a cold soda, which is always a nice surprise at work.
The best secret santa gift I got was a gift card to a record store. My secret santa knew I was waiting for a cd to come out.
