For me, the first song I can actively remember singing is Gloria Estefans Bad Boys, Lol.
Other important songs/albums:
First album I owned: SWV
NKOTB of course - I was 7! still bitter my mom couldnt get me concert tickets ;-)
Also, I loved Salt n Pepa, Boys II Men and All 4 One
Anything by Smashing Pumpkins or DMB for junior and high school.
Also Blues Traveler.
I used to make my own mixes... I still have some!
hmmm: my first tape was bon jovi slippery when wet- I loved livin on a prayer I was 6
and I loved NKOTB and Debbie Gibson and Tiffany and that whole era...
then middle school was Salt & Peppa, SWV, Boys 2 Men, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli
and then I moved onto The sundays, the smiths, sarah mclaughlin, indigo girls, etc...
