I woke up this morning and my right eye was all red.
I put some drops in and waited a while before I put my contacts in.
It's still read and sensative to the touch.
I am wondering if I should call the doctor, but I hate to miss work.
Re: My eye is killing me
Ouch!
Makes my eye water just reading about it.
I wonder if you either have or had something in there that caused some irritation or a little scratch or something. It's possible that your contact caused further irritation too.
I'd say if it's still bad this afternoon, call the doc.
Do you have glasses you can wear instead and give your eyes a break from the contacts for a day or two? That may help right there.
But if not...I woudl def call the doc if it's not better today. You don't want to let it go over the weekend if its an infection or anything.
No, I dont have a good script of glasses.
I can manage at home with them, but not out driving and working. So my plan is to take my contacts out as soon as I get home tonight. And make sure I wash my face really good and make sure all of my make up is off.
I will cal first thing in the am if it's not better.
I just hate that when people come into my cubie the first thing they say is "OMG, your eye is all red!"
I HATE that!!!! I had an irritation a few months ago and after a couple of hours I was about to say "Shut up about my eye already!!!!"
Oh, and I am the same as you with my glasses script. It's way outdated, and only good for home.
