So, guess where I am? WORK. I am doing VERY part time for the rest of my leave to take pressure off the office. I worked Monday 8-12 and I'm working today 8-12 for a full 8 hour day (for salary). I'm working Mon/Tues morning next week. John and I planned ahead and I could have stayed off work all the way through the end of the year, but I decided to be nice and take some pressure off here. I'm hoping it puts me in a great negotiating position when I ask them to "create" a part time position for my job. : ) I don't want to work full time anymore.
Jack is AWESOME. Things are getting SO much easier. He's a little piglet and looks twice the size of other babies his age. Nursing is going great now (finally) and I feel like we have a little bit of a routine down now.
I did see my draw and I am SUPERDUPER excited for it. I love my person.
So happy to see you around these parts, and I'm glad things are going well with Jack. Btw, more pics please!

Do you at least get to bring Jack with you to work? I remember your co-worker bringing kids in, so it only seems fair. It is very nice of you to go in and help them out, even if you have an ulterior motive.

I know! I haven't had to shop for anyone else in years. : )
Jack sleeps pretty good, longest stretches lately have been 3 hours but he's in a growth spurt right now where all he wants to do is eat and sleep. A few nights ago he went 5 hours!! And I was actually sleeping at the same time! It was glorious.
He is a pretty chill babe, though I don't really have much to compare to. He goes from 0-60 in 3 seconds though. He loves to be snuggled and held and is not one of those babies that is content to be in a crib or bouncer. That is somewhat difficult since I haven't gotten the hang of my Moby yet but I am pretty content to just sit and snuggle him on the couch for hours. I have been watching a LOT of tv and movies, lol. He's started making faces in response to me (smiles, laughs) and it is sooooooo precious.
You need to be around here more.

I could if I wanted, but John's home with him. I would bring him in rather than to find daycare for him. My dad keeps bugging me to let him watch Jack but A.) he refuses to change diapers and my kid's not going to sit in a dirty diaper for hours, and B.) his 75 yo arms get tired of holding him after 5 minutes and my kid doesn't like to be put down.
