gran porto real, playa del carmen?
this hotel didn't ring a bell to me, but thought i'd ask anyway - did any of you get married there? or has anyone been there? a girlfriend of mine is having her wedding there in late june, and i'm sure kyle and i are going - just wanted to find out a little more about the hotel.

DH and I went to a wedding there. Most of the wedding guests flew in together. Check in was a total disaster. They overbooked the hotel and moved or tried to move many of us to another hotel. DH and I stood firm, because we wanted to be with the rest of the wedding guests, and after about an hour or two, they found us a room.
The location is fantastic though. Walking distance to 5th ave. and night life.
