Any fabulous plans for the weekend? I am itching to take down all of my Christmas stuff from the attic so I can just get it ready for after Thanksgiving. Ha ha ha. Today I m off to a new volunteer gig, and then heading over to Fredericks of Hollywood....I need some sexy stuff for my photos!

I've also felt an itch to get the Christmas stuff out already, but I'll be good and wait until after Thanksgiving. Oh, except that we strung the outdoor lights last weekend on that 60-degree day
I told DH already that I want to go get the tree on Friday so that we can enjoy it as long as possible!
Lots of family plans this weekend. Getting together tonight for the anniversary of my grandmother's passing a couple of years ago. Then birthday dinner for my dad tomorrow. Sunday I hope to just take it easy and maybe finally finish up the afghan I've been working on for my mom. I'm so tired of working on it!
Nothing fabulous, lots of to-dos. I am going to make DH get the Christmas stuff down from the attic. I think I bought Christmas cards on clearance last winter but I can't remember, and I need to find out so I can buy some if we don't already have them! We also need to finish cleaning up the leaves in our yard. Our tree FINALLY lost its last leaves this week during the high winds, so now I can feel comfortable really cleaning everything up and not worrying about more falling. I want to get started on my Christmas cookies, too. I always bake a ton for gifts and I looked at my calendar this week and realized it is booking up very quickly! I want to get a few batches in the freezer before I get overwhelmed.

I've been dying to put up Christmas decorations! I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm usually one of those no-Christmas-til-December type of people, but this year, I'm itching for Christmas early, and DH is having none of it yet.
Otherwise, this baby is officially late. Hopefully this weekend, he decides to make an appearance! There's a full moon on Sunday, maybe that will kick start things for me.
CameDown- Good luck with your photos! Are you nervous? It would make me totally nervous, but I can be kind of a shy person, so I totally admire you doing it!
Rock- You always have the busiest weekends!

Thanks! I'm so hoping for this weekend! My doctor won't even discuss induction with me because she says she doubts I'll make it to 41 weeks (when they induce). She also thought I'd go early, so I don't think she knows, but what can you do? Punky is the only nestie I know IRL, so she will know when he's born. Maybe she'll pop on next week to tell everyone her birth story and will hopefully also have news to announce for me! Otherwise, if I go mysteriously absent on Monday, then you'll know something's up!
Andrea I am so excited for you! I keep waiting to see if you disappear...ha ha ha.
Rock- there is a Fredericks in Woburn....at the Woburn Mall. I actually didn't find much there, but they were having a sale on bras so I picked up three!
My photos are next weekend. The Saturday after Thanksgiving! They are a total surprise for my husband, and I am really excited because I am SUPER shy...so he would never expect that I would do this. I will let you guys know how it goes. I am traveling about an hour and a half away to do this, but she was the only one I could find with an amazing portfolio, a very cool studio, and a time slot!
Now you've made me feel all popular and stuff, haha

That last part goes for you, too, camedown. And I think it's great you're conquering your shyness for the boudoir pics. Everyone who's ever posted about them always talk about what a fabulous experience it is. I hope you have a great time with it!

Tonight I'm stopping over at the Cyclorama for the Boston Fine Art Show. Might hang out there for about an hour. Then enjoy a nice evening with DH.
Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a fellow Nestie for some lunch! Then going out with my SIL to do some Christmas shopping.
Sunday I'll be spending the morning with DH and then going to my parents to clean out my old bedroom. So much stuff to give away, throw and sort!
camedown, Thank you! And I remember you mentioning before that you're REALLY shy! You're so brave to do the photos- I wish I had the cojones! And ditto to Rock, I've always heard people talk about them as a really fun, positive experience.
Rock- I'll do my best! I'm sad we've never met IRL either. There was a GTG a year or so ago that I was going to go to because Punky was still in MA so I was more comfortable going with her than going alone, but then I had to work super late that night.
I'm also dying to pull out all of my Christmas decorations but am trying to hold out until next weekend, I usually do it the day after Thanksgiving..
And FYI, Frederick's is having $19 bras (all of them, except strapless!) and lots of items that are 50% off this weekend..
I'm hoping to rest up this weekend, I was in DC earlier this week and have been sick ever since I got back, and actually took a sick day today. I want to get better before we have guests in town for Thanksgiving next week.
Since I'm trying to rest up, I'll probably just lay on the couch and re-read Harry Potter or prepare for my trip to Peru in January, its getting so close!
Camedown- I hope you have fun shopping at Fredericks, I don't know that I have the courage to do that, so props to you! I'd love to hear how the actual session goes!

I'm just grading and doing report cards this weekend. I'm hoping to have them all done before we leave for Thanksgiving. We may go out for dinner with friends this evening to celebrate a birthday. Other than that I'm hoping to get a lot of cleaning and organizing done. I want to make space for all the Christmas decorations so we can start decorating once we get back home next weekend. I can't believe it's here already but I'm so excited for this first Christmas with Lillie even though she'll never remember it.

Andrea - Good luck. I'm secretly hoping that you "mysteriously disappear" soon. My little one was 3 days late and I remember the waiting game .. no fun. If you do keep waiting try to enjoy the down time and do as much organizing as you have time for while you wait because it may be awhile before you get the chance again. (As for me, I just needed to keep moving to keep my mind off things.) Make sure you get people to take lots of pictures of your little one when he arrives and make sure people get pictures of you with him. Thats one thing I miss ... I got lots of pictures of my DH with her but there aren't many pictures of me with her from those first few weeks and they really do change and grow SOOO quickly. Enjoy those first few hours and days once they arrive.
Thanks! Unfortunately, my doctor doesn't even seem like she thinks I'll be having this little guy any time soon. She says since it's my first, she wants to give him as much time as we can to come on his own (and he's very happy in there!) so at this point, I'm going to be very grateful to have him before December!
And the picture thing I will definitely try to do. I have very few pictures of me even pregnant... I'm bad with photos and always regret not taking enough!
