Old Town Scottsdale Restaurants

Good morning!

DH & I are planning on meeting up with some friends tonight in Old town Scottsdale for dinner.  I'm totally drawing a blank on restaurants there, other than Oregano's, Ra & Saddle Ranch, all of which have been nixed... So I thought I'd ask you knowledgable ladies for any suggestions!

TIA!

  • I love Stingray Sushi, thats my fav- but if your not into sushi you would do PF Changs, Olive and Ivy, Trader Vics, or Cowboy Ciao.

  • 5th and Wine is wonderful!  It is a new restaurant on 5th.  Fantastic food and atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable!

  • We love Grimaldis Pizza, Loco Patron, Olive and Ivy, Sauce(if you want something more casual), and RA.

I want to try out the Estate House because it just looks awesome and has a rooftop bar, it's on Stetson Dr. right by the new "decorated" canal(yet still a canal in my opinion) and there is also a Tapas place right across from it that I can't remember the name of, we had drinks there and it has an awesome atmosphere but couldn't tell you what the food is like.

Look it up on Yelp, they always have plenty of options on there.

ETA: The tapas restaurant is called Tapas Papa Frita, and I also remembered another one, Modern Steak, we also only had drinks and appetizers here but it was also another great atmosphere place.

  • bandaras is down there across from where billet bar was.  heard the food is really good, but it gets packed so the wait sucks.

  • Thanks for all the suggestions, ladies!  I got super busy at work, and was only able to peek at the replies.  We ate at RnR.  It was really good food, but HORRIBLE service.  :(  Probably won't go back there.  Or if we do, it won't be on a weekend night!
