Earlier this week there was a fire that burned down a Chicago Bridal Shop.  I feel so bad for the ladies whose weddings are this weekend and in the next few weeks.  The post below is from a bride who's wedding is 3 weeks away.

 I am so thankful that something like this did not happen to any of us...

Yikes...the place that I bought my dress from had a fire proof vault that they stored the dresses in

That is so awful!  I can't even imagine the stress and disappointment.

Oh my goodness! I would have been devastated!!! I can't even imagine...those poor brides I hope the store is going above & beyond for them!

Oh my goodness I would've been heartbroken.  That's so awful, and the OP from that board seemed waaaay together.  I would be flipping out. :-(  Poor things.

Thanks for posting this! We were married in Chicago and I hadn't been over on that board in a while. I would have been devastated because my dress had to be custom sized. I'm 5'0 and had a hand beaded lace dress made to the exact length...can't exactly reorder that in 2 weeks. I remember being so paranoid when I brought the wedding dress home that something would happen to the house.
