DH and I went to the grocery store this morning, now I'm making white chicken chili in the crock pot. We'll watch football/ basketball on tv and I have a paper to work on and an exam to study for.

DH starts his 6 day shift tonight, so he's sleeping all day. I have some household chores that need to get done. Rake the leaves, and get the outside ready for the first snow of the year. Then get the inside tidy after the work week.

I also have a cookie recipe that I want to try out tonight. If I get some free time this weekend. I'll be finishing The Time Travelers Wife (I have less the 100 pages!) then I can watch the movie, and working on our quilted christmas stockings. My hope is that I'll have at least one done so my mom can help me finish them over Thanksgiving weekend. I'm so excited to see her is been since the wedding! By far the longest I've ever gone without my mama

We are mostly planning on sticking around the house this weekend.  H is on a weeks vacation from school, so hopefully he'll get a lot of his homework done this weekend so he can enjoy the week.  I want to go running, clean up around here, and I need to make some rolls today because we're having burgers for dinner tonight.

DH and I both worked on Saturday, and had a late BBQ dinner.  Then we did something we haven't done in ages and stayed up late talking.

Today I made pancakes for breakfast and am having lunch with a friend that I haven't seen in about 4 years.  She moved to a town a couple of hours away from here, I am very excited to see her.

Today at 5:40am, DH and I got in a car, packed food and our dog, and drove down to Atlanta to spend Thanksgiving with his family.  Right now, we are enjoying our favorite wine that the best MIL in the world always makes sure if here when we visit

Well, it's pouring out, and we just ran out for sliders for dinner cause we reallly need groceries!  (They had tofu sliders for me!)

I taught my 6-8 yr old theater group today, and tomorrow I'm having a coffee/farmers market date with two girl friends.  Then I teach my large group of 5-11 yr olds.  I hoped to get some shopping in too; I want the long jane's from VS  http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satellite?ProductID=1265347804863&c=Page&cid=1287140196317&pagename=vsdWrapper

they are so toasty! :-) And I need to finalize my Thanksgiving appetizers, stat.

I spent the day with a friend today. We went to an Etsy craft thingy, then lunch, followed by some antiquing, and a trip to JoAnn's so she could get fabric and I could get yarn.

When I came home, DH and I lazed for a bit, then went out for dinner. When we got back he started playing video games and I crocheted.

Tomorrow, grocery shopping. I think he's going to watch football. We're also considering seeing Harry Potter, but might wait.

A pretty good weekend, I think.

Last night I hosted "Thankgsiving for Friends" at my apartment.  It has been a tradition for the last 3 or 4 years.  I spent all of Friday night and ALL day yesterday cooking and getting ready.  We had a great time.  Today we are just relaxing and eating leftovers!

We spent the weekend at the Outer Banks, NC with DH's best friend and his wife. Friday night we grilled out and played Trivial Pursuit. Saturday we did touristy things and went out for seafood. We got home about an hour ago. I'm getting ready to do some laundry and DH is watching football.
