Samsung Vibrant

I currently have the G1 from t-mobile and I am due for an upgrade. I really want an iPhone, but t-mobile obviously doesn't have it. Would it be silly to leave t-mobile and go get the iPhone? Or I could just stick with t-mobile because I heard the Samsung Vibrant is as good (if not better) than the iPhone...opinions??

Re: Samsung Vibrant

  • Is the Vibrant made by Galaxy S?

If so, I have (had) that AT&T Samsung Captivate and it's a good comparison to the iPhone but no where near being an actual alternative for it. The phone has a lot of software glitches. It will randomly open up apps and that's while your phone is locked. You'll unlock it and find several apps open. The browser would crash constantly while trying to navigate to pages such as the yahoo.com or even thenest.com

I'd go with an iPhone over the Captivate or it's sister phones any day.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I don't believe any of them play flash. If you are on t mobile I would say go for the my touch 4g. I am definitely going with that next month when I can upgrade. Can't beat the t mobile plan prices. Check out the iphone vs mytouch 4g video on you tube.
