I'm sorry if this seems random y'all, I just got some terrible news and needed a space to talk about it.
We received an email from our biology department head about my anatomy professor who was expecting twins. We were supposed to have an exam last Thursday but our professor wasn't able to make it. We just found out why.
She went into premature labor on Thursday and delivered her twins at 23 weeks. Her son was 1lb 3 oz and passed away on Friday morning. Her daughter was 1lb 2 oz and passed Saturday morning. I am so incredibly heart broken for her and I cannot even begin to imagine what that family is going through. If you could spare any T&Ps for the K* family and little Sean and Jillian, I'm sure they would be very much appreciated. Dr. K has been one of the BEST professors I have ever had, someone who bends over backward for her students and then some. Life feels very unfair right now.
Also, my apologies to Nanner since this post is coming right after her good news.
