Everytime I hear a parent say they couldn't go out to dinner with their child...
I always wondered why?? I mean really it wasn't that hard to entertain a toddler for the hour that you are there. I would give B crayons or a small toy and she was golden until dinner came and then while we eat. Never once would try to get out of her seat, never threw fits in the restuarant. Sat like such a happy little content girl.
Well I TOTALLY GET IT NOW with Miss Carly. I get it. I get it. I get it. Going out to dinner with her is a pure nightmare.

When monk first started sitting in the high chairs we had this...and it was sooo useful that when we thought we lost it we bought another one....now we have two...one for in DHs car and one for if we go out with my mom or MIL...the seat part velcros around the back real tight so they cant wiggle out of the belts and straps on those seats.
Sounds like she & Abby could be the best of friends.
Abby finds it funny to throw the crayons, place mat, silverware, food on the floor and laugh. She is a nightmare. At home she is an angel. It's when I leave the house she turns into the devil. She hates the car. Yesterday she managed to take off her shoes and socks and scream the entire trip that she was "stuck"
) I try not to leave the house that often w/ her .. ha!
You know, I was so judgey before kids. Now I GET IT!!! LOL Every kid is different, despite what parents do, sometimes a kid is just that way naturally. So funny. Davis is pretty good if we take him out, but if we truly want to enjoy a meal, we don't take him, especially if it is somewhere really nice.
