Washing sheets / blanket!

I wash / change sheets once a week.

But how often do you wash your blanket?

A couple times a season? I don't know for sure. I do it really randomly. Sometimes I just look at it and think.."Hmmm..I should wash that."

The throw blankets in our LR I do once a month but kids crawl on them and we use them all of the time.

We use cotton blankets so usually wash at least 1x per month. FR throw blankets get washed every 1-2 weeks depending on how often the dog ends up sleeping on them.

Blankets probably get washed a few times a season.

Guest blankets are washed after guests leave. They're washed less often than our bedding, as we don't have guests very often.

Our quilt gets washed probably every 4-6 weeks or so. The blanket we have on top of our quilt is the one the cats always sleep on so that gets washed every two weeks.

I have really bad allergies so I have always washed the sheets and blankets at least once a week.  I do that with the kids, too.  They also have allergies.  We have throw blankets on the couch that get washed once a week, too. 

For people who don't have allergies it looks like every 2 to 6 weeks.

About half as often as the sheets.  So every other time I wash the sheets, I wash my comforters/quilts.
