I saw in our survey that you are a cost accountant. I always LOVED my cost accounting courses and think I should've gone that route with my career. Do you have your CMA? I doubt I'd ever go for my CPA (started to once and it just wasn't for me), but I'd consider a CMA.

I loved cost so much better than financial. I like that I can go and touch what I am accounting for. It helps me a lot. I also like having to be involved with what is going on out on the manufacturing floor and interacting with the machinists. makes the day so much more fun than sitting at my desk crunching numbers.
I do not have my CMA. I thought about going for it when I graduated college but never followed through. I have been in Cost Accounting for 10 years and have never met anyone who had a CMA.
It sounds a lot more interesting than my job.
