I've been a bit MIA lately - lots going on...in addition to the busy part of the semester, both my grandparents have been taking turns in the hospital and Patrick has pretty much moved into the pediatrician's office due to his chronic ear infections (he has a consult for tubes in a couple of weeks).
In other news...
1) One of my former students (I had him the semester we all got married) was named a Rhodes Scholar a couple of days ago. Ok, so that's not really my news, but I'm so excited for him!
2) I have been named a finalist in a faculty search (tenure-track job) and now have to start the interview process in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, it is two hours away, so we'd most likely have to move and we're not sure how we feel about that.
3) After almost 17 months, I FINALLY was able to button a pair of pre-Patrick pants yesterday! Oh, the small victories...
Hope all is well and that everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving!
Re: AW x 3
So happy to hear an update from you, I have missed you!
Awesome about your student and being named a finalist!! Even if it doesn't work out due to the distance it's a great accomplishment! Equally awesome about the pre-baby pants!!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
