I thought I would make it easier on myself and order online this year, having items shipped-since all of my holiday gifts will be shipped anyway. (we just moved to Arizona this year.) Makes sense right?
Well, I went to swisscolony.com and ordered these amazing caramel apple cheesecakes for all the aunts, brothers, etc that I rarely see but would probably enjoy something like this and had each one shipped to the appropriate people. Here is where it gets interesting. Well, I finally ordered one for my aunt, who, since some wedding drama has said she will never speak to me again-I am out of her life. I figured, it is HER problem, I still love her, and decided to send it. WHY OH WHY did swiss colony screw up and send THREE cheesecakes to HER?? (and not to two other brothers btw). They got 5 seperate orders right, but screwed up these three. If they had been sending them all to ANYONE else I might have let it go (although it is a $30 cheesecake). I can picture her getting $90 worth of cheesecake and thinking I am totally kissing butt. Ugh.
I got the "please check this order and if there are any errors, call" email this morning and called immediately only to be told they are already out on the truck. The woman who answered said the computers are "glitching" often. They are trying to fix it now but the items already shipped. They may still ship them but credit me for those and send my brothers their cheesecakes but still...ugh!!
So much for the ease of online ordering!

One year I did all my christmas shopping online on Cyber Monday... everything was from Amazon!
This year I am planning on ordering a few things from Harry & David... I am really excited about that!
