anyone do edible landscaping?
I just got the book Edible Landscaping and am seriously thinking about ripping out our overgrown flower borders in the front and planting edibles instead.
Re: anyone do edible landscaping?
We started a big landscaping project last summer and are putting in all native plants, many of which produce edible berries and nuts. The trick is getting to them before the animals! The rest attract bees, butterflies, birds, etc. so edible to them but probably not what you meant.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
The title is Edible Landscaping lol

Uh... I guess I do. I mean, its planting edibles right, as part of your landscaping? Yes, then I do!
Although I am just starting and am looking to redo the whole front. I garden in front, because three giant beasts play in back! I do a little food gardening in back - my blueberries are there and I'm going to do a sweet potato tower - but otherwise I just work it in the front. I have some lavendar and snapdragons and other perennials among the foods. I don't think it looks weird at all -- but then its Seattle, lots of people do it and we're weird here - except for when my tomatoes overgrew my walkway. Lesson learned on that!
I'll check out this book! Thanks!
Will you be my Oregon wife? I have a SC wife and Jeff, but that's it. Because your plan is totally awesome and I think I love you!
I would love to! When are you bringing the Nan-deer over here? We still have the kittens! Steven and I just about died when we saw the new picture of her.
