Need Christmas tunes for party?
I want to make a fun mix of Christmas music for a party. We used to have XM radio and they had a great holiday music station called Holly. Unfortunately, we no longer subscribe to it. I'm looking to make a mix similar to it, but can only think of a few tunes: I saw three ships- by Sting; All I want from Christmas is you- Mariah Carey; Christmas Wrapping- the Waitresses.
Can I get some more ideas for modern Christmas tunes?
Thanks!

Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth mix with David Bowie (I think) and Bing Crosby
I think Lady Antebellum has a version of Baby its Cold Outside.
Lol... I thought I would be able to think of some more.
If all else fails I believe that there is a NOW cd that only has Christmas music by todays popular artists...

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
I really love This Christmas by Donny Hathaway, Christmas (baby please come home) by Darlene Love, and Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney.
Nat King Cole's Christmas album is also good and anything from Johnny Mathis' album as well.
Tea Time for Lulu
This is my favorite! Other modern Christmas songs I love:
Elf's Lament - Barenaked Ladies
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLaughlin
I Wonder As I Wander - The Broadway Cast of Spring Awakening
And then not as modern I feel like Christmas isn't complete without "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" "The Christmas Song" by the Chipmunks and "Heat Miser/Cold Miser" I think the version I have is Cherry Poppin' Daddies, but I don't remember off the top of my head.
