oh jesus... i am so, so, so, so, soooooooo sorry.  and that's just so inadequate.  this breaks my heart.  i'll be praying for all of you.  for what it's worth (and i can't imagine it's worth much at the moment), my brother and sil weren't in the same situation by any means but did have to walk away from adopting a child.  they did get their baby in the end, and he's such a wonderful little boy now.  your baby is out there, i am sure of it.

Oh, M... I'm so sorry to hear this news. It sounds like you guys considered your options carefully, and made the best decision you could. For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing. If Olivia's father is really committed to raising her, then that's a very wonderful thing. It's just such a shame that she has the mother she does (9 kids who have all be taken away?!), and that she had to miss out on being raised by such loving, compassionate, stable people as you and your husband.

My prayers are with you that your baby is coming very soon!
