I can't wait for my brother to go to binghamton today- I'm at the end of my rope..this week was really hard- he started to act out and report cards came (epic fail on the grades front) and we'e just been butting heads- I seriously want to call my dad and say, "J might have a slight learning issue but he's f-ed up because you and your wife didnt parent...and I can't stand you for that..."

and I really wish my husband took today off or worked from home...i could use some help...

I keep finding dog poop on my lawn, and so do a bunch of other people.

If my kids step in dog poop, I am going to flip out.  And if I see it happening, it is not going to be pretty.  Who does that?  (I have a feeling it is the bratty teenagers down the block when their parents force them to walk their dog).

What can I do?  Part of me wants to make a sign on a post or something.. it is only a matter of time before one of us steps in poo.

I really wish my Dad didn't have to work a job that he gets stuck working on holidays.  It sucks.

I REALLY DH would get a move on the rest of the renovations that need to be done on the house.  I want to be able to host holidays and other parties again!  His deadline is Stella's 1st birthday party b/c I refuse to pay to have it somewhere when we have a perfect house for hosting.

I have this nervous/excitement feeling. It is weird since I am not really looking forward or nervous about anything I can put my finger on. I guess it will pass, but it is bizarre.

Our neighbor came home drunk last night and sat in his car with the radio blasting for over an hour before DH had to go out and wake him up- turns out he passed out. He was slumped over at the wheel- I thought he was dead!  Nice.  Now I'm exhausted because I couldn't fall asleep after all that.

I have a friend that I was pretty close to.  We'd do things together and even travel together.  Then she got a boyfriend and pretty much dropped off the face of this earth.  I would invite her to things but she'd never go.  Pretty much our get togethers had to be on her terms - when her boyfriend was out of town, or when she didn't have to watch his kids, etc.  A little while back she expressed to me and a few other mutual friends that she wanted to do more girls nights - maybe once a month.  I told her it sounded great!  Well she set the ball in motion picking the next GTG which she cancelled the day of.  We moved it to the following week, no big deal.  She was sick.  U understand. The night before the new date, she said she couldn't do Wednesday but could go out tonight instead.  I said no, I had plans.  So we decided to move it to the following Wednesday.  Now she's telling me she can't make next Wednesday either.  I'm so frustrated right now.  Didn't you check your calendar?  You are the one picking the dates and times.

I went to an urgent care place last night and left with a diagnosis of H1N1. Fever of 103 absolutely is brutal. Which sucks in its own right but that also means we couldn't leave for NY today as planned. Looks like we'll be heading out very early tomorrow since my fever has been broken for almost 24 hours with no advil but I still feel crappy and am not ready for a 9 hour drive.

I just hope that everyone is at their destination and off the roads so we can fly home.

Awww.  I hope you feel better.  I haven't heard of any outbreaks of H1N1 yet this year.  If I were you, I'd probably take a sleeping pill for the car ride.
