My aunt and uncle will be in town this weekend and among other things, they had seeing the tree (not up yet at all, right?) and Fifth Avenue holiday windows on their wish list. I typically avoid that area of the city like the plague, so I have no idea if there's even anything to see there now. Will the windows be up by Sunday, or should we figure out a plan b?
I'll be honest, I'm crossing my fingers that the answer is no ![]()
Also, they want to go to Ground Zero (ugh) and the Ground Zero Museum (which, honestly, I didn't even know existed ... I don't do touristy stuff very often). Googling suggests that the museum is actually in Meatpacking. Or at least, there seems to be some sort of photography exhibit in the Meatpacking District. Is this the right museum or is there another one?
Thanks!
Re: Holiday windows/Ground Zero Museum question
The store windows are actually up already if you guys want to do that.
I dont know about the rest, I personally wouldnt do the Ground Zero museum and dont get the appeal.
Can you maybe talk them into something Christmas-y, like a Broadway show? The Rockettes? LOL
