Happy Thanksgiving, ya'll.
I am at my mom's (in Titusville) and FI's mom is with us. My grandmother, grandfather, and FI's mom are find out about the pregnancy today.
Also, I guess this is as good a time as any to post this:

Pretty tame so far. I am impressed and so far, but still convinced that I think I would be done after this one. Confession: I was a little bummed when I saw both the little guys on the screen, because I know that between twins, my history of epilepsy, and Luis' genetic history, I will not be able to be at a birthing center; but I know that I can get excellent care at a hospital, too. I am praying that whatever OB I end up with won't insist on a c-section just because there are two of them in there.
I will scan a pic of the sono later.
I know you were set on this, I'm sorry you're bummed, and totally understand. This is why I said to be open minded.
And if your OB isn't open to letting you not have a c-section unless you need one, switch OBs. They work for you.
I am trying to be. My current OB's practice said that just because there are twins doesn't necessarily mean a c-section, so that is good. I'm totally ok with being in a hospital, now that I know what I know. It was just a fleeting feeling really. In the end, I am sure I am like every other mom and I will do whatever is necessary to get the beans and rice out safe and healthy.
My silly Lily is almost 4.
OMFG! A surprise pregnancy (if I remember, right?), and surprise twins!!! CRAZY!!!
I am glad your OB is not insisting on a c-section. I think most would do a vaginal birth if both babies are head down, and some would do a vaginal birth if at least baby A (closest to the cervix) is head down. I was also glad to hear my OB tell me that twins is no indication that a c section is necessary. Obviously many other things can still come into play, but I am wishing you a H&H twin delivery, when the time comes!!
