Thankgiving @ work : (
well its not really that bad, we did a potluck and we definitely had a great meal. Dh is working too but the rest of our families are enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving lunch right now.

When I was younger, I worked for 6 years in a fine dining restaurant as a hostess for a second job, and we were always open on Christmas and Thanksgiving (and Easter, Mother's Day, New Years..in fact, the only day of the year we were closed was SuperBowl). I worked many of those holidays. My family would always arrange our plans around my work schedule, but it was so disappointing to have to go in on one of those days! Definitely a downfall of being in the hospitality industry.
