help finding a gift

Hi there,

I am new to this board, and I need help finding a gift for DH.  He is a large man, wearing a 4x.  I want to find him sleepwear/ lounge pants with the peanuts characters on them.  I cannot find them anywhere, but I know some have to exist.  I even looked for fabric and a pattern, but online atleast, I cannot find a pattern big enough.  Any ideas where to look?  I have done every google search I can think of.  Thanks os much!

Re: help finding a gift

  • what about an ebay, etsy or amazon search? Sorry I can't be more help, I know my mom buys 3 and 4XL's at Sears online and JCPenney online for my Grandma but it is nightshirts and stuff like that. Good luck!
  • You could try posting an Etsy Alchemy request.  Lounge pants are easy to sew without a pattern, you just need waist and inseam, and they are very forgiving.  If you sew, just google for pajama pants patterns or tutorials.  Basically, you can create your own pattern from a pair of pants he wears.  The trick will be finding the fabric.  If you don't sew, then try alchemy to get someone else to sew it for you.

  • I am an avid Peanuts fan,and I have never seen them. (I know webundies has some loungepants, but not in big and tall)

I would recommend buying fabric and having them made. Lounge pants aren't that difficult and any seamstress worth their salt could make them without a pattern.

I LOVE Peanuts and always looking for things with more than one character . . .  most everything is all Snoopy. That being said, I have seen fabric that has several of the characters.

  • Thanks Ladies,

I think I have given up for the year.  I would make them myself, however, I am moving soon, and already gave my sewing machine to my mother in a different state.  I would ask her to make them for me, but without an actual pattern, there is no way at all!  I know I could get fabric though.
