Dog Kennel/Sitting Suggestions
We are going out of town and am not sure about having My Second Home, where Seamus goes to daycare at keep him since they make the daycare running around separate so its almost $50 a day. Any recs, please. I like how Camp Bow Wow sounds but since its relatively new I wasn't sure. Also, he is over 30 lbs already at 4 mos so Miss Kittys will not work.TIA.
Re: Dog Kennel/Sitting Suggestions
We take Layla to Paw Pals in Franklin for daycare and boarding. ?We have been very happy with them so far.
The cost is $22/day for daycare (or you can buy a package for pretty significant savings). ?Boarding is $34/night, including daycare, plus they offer a multi-night discount. ?
My favorite thing about them is that they offer daycare on Saturday's, which we haven't found at any of the other places. ?Check them out at?http://www.pawpalsdogdaycare.com/
?
We have boarded at My Second Home before and I'd not recommend it. Our dog wasn't happy or healthy when we picked her up.
From there we went to The Pooch Playhouse in Spring Hill and absolutely love it!!! We don't use them anymore for boarding (since my parents moved here and our dogs go to grandma's when we leave), but that's pretty much the only other people I'd let watch our dogs. They LOVE it there. It's a daycare that's open from 7-7 so during that time the boarded dogs are treated just like the daycare dogs and are so tired at night. My dogs freak out in the car if we're even on the same street as that place is on. I couldn't recommend it enough and I think, if you have to leave your dog it's good to tke them somewhere where they can play all day and have fun.
What are do you live in? I own a Professional Pet-Sitting service in Williamson County. I also do South Davidson arounf Old Hickory Blvd & Granny White.
?
Anyway,,,,with the pet-sitting your dogs will get to stay in their own familiar environment. Very low stress. They always get so stressed out in kennels. The only one I would recommend is The Farm at Natchez Trace. They book up very quickly
