How was your Thanksgiving?
Friday- I came into work today even though I had originally booked it off to make a Thanksgiving feast. My in-laws are having car problems and are still not here (were supposed to be here on Wednesday). So no feast for us until Sunday. I plan to clean-up the house and hang out with DH tonight, so not surprised that they are already messing up my plans!
Saturday- Head out to some of the Grey Cup Festivities happening downtown, it's nuts here right now!
Sunday- Make "Thanksgiving" dinner and watch the Grey Cup at home.

Re: TGIF
Thanksgiving was good. It didn't feel like Thanksgiving at all, but it was nice to have the day off with DH.
Friday- I got up and did some shopping for most of the day. I got some great buys at Old Navy and new toys for the dog! I got everything put away and am now just hanging out.
Saturday- I have to work tomorrow. I don't mind though, I only work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday this week and Wednesday was a half day!
Sunday- Not sure, maybe a little cleaning, and just general hanging out.
Monday- DH and I are going to look at a house, and then probably taking the dog to the beach.
Ditto, didn't feel like Thanksgiving, but it was good time spent with family.
Friday -- Trying to sort out a new budget since DH is on a different pay schedule with the new job. We're trying to figure out how to pay bills and pay for Christmas. Wish us luck!
Saturday -- Family reunion I so do NOT wanna go to. It'll also be a surprise party for gma, though, so we'll make the required appearances.
Sunday -- Dinner for a cousin's bday at Olive Garden.
All weekend -- LLAAUUNNNDDDRRRYYY!!!
I think DH and I along with MIL/FIL were the only adults NOT fighting with their spouse at Thanksgiving. SIL was furious with BIL because he and SIL's Brother and another guest went "outside" and came back a little too inebriated to converse. SIL's parents were bickering because SIL's mom dropped a bottle of wine and her H said "You're a drunk, just use a straw to clean it up!" He made a few other comments, which I thought were funny, but she very much thought them inappropriate. Ah, family drama...
Friday: Spent much of the day cleaning and purging our unnecessary items. We're getting new carpet, so we are basically packing like we are moving, minus the move. DH is getting rid of things he hasn't seen in 15 years and didn't realize he still had. We did go to Kohl's and bought a storage ottoman to replace the coffee table we are getting rid of. It was glass and my nephew finds it fun to make every effort to break - I just don't want him getting hurt. It was old and I didn't care for it much, plus it had sharp corners and with a little tater tot on the way, it was one thing that needed to go eventually.
Saturday: More cleaning. And taking the cat and dog for nail trims.
Sunday: More cleaning.
