I'm having a hard time feeling guilty about making a TIC shot at Fox News as a knee jerk reaction to being egregiously misquoted. Whether or not you're a fan of Fox, you handily used one of their tried and true tactics by creating a straw man out of what I said. I'm calling you out for your tactics, not your loyalty or lack thereof to Fox News.
You stated that you selected the parts that you "agreed" with which, when taken out of context, misrepresent my point. So really, you didn't agree with my point at all, just the selection of words you chose to cut out from it. That being the case, in the future it would be more sincere and truthful to restate the part you liked in your own words. I'm still curious why you don't agree with the other parts of my comment. If you want to discuss something substantively with me, I'm all ears. If all you want is to ignore my substantive point and instead marginalize my perspective by once again telling me that I'm "overreacting" to something simply because you disagree with me, well then it's clear that respectful and mature discussion is not what you're interested in today.
WOW, I am pretty impressed by the reaction some of you had to my post. I didn't realize I had such a pull on your emotions. I was mocking the way Janelle worded her post, that she would "take a loss" or however she said it. I am sorry if all Gator fans felt that I was calling you out. I wasn't even really trying to be rude to Janelle. Of course all FSU fans are excited for the win, Janelle's witty comeback ruined my temporary high
But she is right. It is the first win after 6 years in a row of losses. Maybe 6 years from now planets will have been eliminated and more social netowrking sites will exist. Then I can brag. I guess it was a little premature. Oh well.

I can see where people do use C&P for that reason, but I don't think Janelle was trying to do that at all. I would have done the same thing, but bolded it. Sometimes it's easier to just delete it to get the point across. /shrug
I say you were overreacting not because I disagree with you, but because (again) you didn't even ask Janelle what she meant. No one misconstrued it but you. I didn't even think twice about her quoting just that until you mentioned it. And one little thing got turned into a zillion posts back and forth between you and her, which could have been avoided had you just said "Hey, wtf!" And she would have said "My bad." The end!
So, we're both guilty of overreacting. Let's go get ice cream. I'm grumpy today.

The day that Janelle responds to anything I say with "my bad", hell will have truly frozen over. 
It's fine though because I've become accustomed to what our exchanges are likely to be like. It's funny because I think it causes the rest of the board more anxiety than it causes either Janelle or me. We are known quantities to each other. I guess most people would like to think we could all end things with puppies and rainbows and ice cream cones. I've learned to accept the fact that it will probably never be like that between me and some people in the world. NBD. 
If you don't think you're never wrong, I've never seen you admit as much in any capacity here. Give me break, where exactly does this "bowing down to Kendra" bit come from? All I was looking for was acknowledgment that your conveniently selective C&P of my comment took my comments out of context and, thus, misconstrued my point. I was actually defending your team and yet you managed to turn my own quote into looking like an attack on FSU. I think that's pretty classless. If it's taught me anything, it's that you can handily undermine even my most sincere attempts at trying to find middle ground and common understanding with you.
I really think it is sad if I have in any way caused you to visit the board less often. Nothing in the world says you have to engage me. You could at any time drop these discussions if they bug you so much. Yet, you never do. I assumed that was because you enjoyed the banter in some way. Seeing as you are making it clear that that is not the case, I will happily see if I can make get the stupid block function to work and henceforth pretend like you don't exist. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it either way.
