Here is my current holiday mantle. It needs some pizzaz, I think. Any ideas?

Re: Mantle ? (PIP)
I love the color of the walls and the wood trim detail! Very nice!!!
I would start by putting a slightly larger wreath in the center. The wreath you have is really pretty, but it's being dwarfed.
I would then clear away some of the candles.
Previous poster mentioned it needs some height and I totally agree. A quick and inexpensive way to work on that would be to get a tall clear glass vase, filled with cranberries, or pomagrants and some curly willow. Tall, red amaryllis would look fantastic. Something like this: (although you can find similar kits much less expensive.)

You could do this on one side and the other could be two large candles, Or you could do two amaryllis (one on each side) and a few red mercury glass votive holders across the front.
Have fun!
