Tips on selling a dining room table/set?
Hey fellow Chicago gals,
Wondering if any of you have successfully sold any furniture in the city, and what ideas you might have for doing so? I have a dining room table and buffet I'm looking to sell. They're old pieces, so I've already contacted a couple of antique stores in the area to gauge interest.
This sounds weird but I'm nervous about using Craig's list for something like this since these items someone would be coming to my home to pick up.
Any other thoughts on how I might be able to sell this? I'm not looking to get a ton of money out of it, just a fair price since the furniture is good stuff and in fairly good condition.
