Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

IE can't get online, but FF can
I wanted to update my iPhone yesterday through iTunes, but it wouldn't connect. I thought that was strange since I was on the internet on FF. My brother told me that my last FF upgrade may have made it wonky, and to try IE, so I did, but couldn't even get online at all with IE.
I researched it online and did quite a few of the things it suggested, including deleting IE and downloading the new version, turning off all firewalls, and making sure that IE had access to open (something to do with proxy settings).
I'm at a loss. I can do without IE for the rest of my life since I never use it, but my iTunes is dead in the water until I figure out how to fix this.

Just to confirm, you made went to Tools --> Connections --> LAN Settings and made sure the Proxy Server box was not checked, right?
I'll keep thinking about what else it could be...
