Places to convert home video to DVD?
Hey ladies, I am looking for a place in the Portland area that can put an 8mm home video on a DVD. We have FINALLY received our wedding video from a family member (after four years of marriage!), and we want to put it on DVD. Since I haven't ever done this, I don't know of anything in the area. Ideas?
Thanks!
Re: Places to convert home video to DVD?
Costco does it if you have a costco membership.
We took ours there to have it done, only to find out that the tape had been erased in the mail when it went through the scanners from when SIL sent it to us. So we'll never see the tape of our wedding.
Oh- it totally stinks about your video! Our ceremony was recorded over with a football game, so right when we kiss is when the video starts. We're lucky that whoever was recording the football game noticed the tape was our wedding video. Otherwise we would be down a wedding video too!
I presume that you have pictures of your wedding. And probably memories to last a lifetime!
