Ideas needed for creative ways to give cash
Each year for Christmas DH and I give my nephews cash but we try to think of a fun way to give it to them. The first two years I got all dollar bills and put them in a treasure chest, wrapped it in chains and put a pad lock on it, but hid the key. When they opened the chest all the dollar bills popped out.
Last year we put dollar bills in balloons, blew them up and put them all in a big box, wrapped it. Then in a smaller box I gave them each a large safety pin for them to use to pop the balloons. They loved it!
So now what to do this year? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance.
Re: Ideas needed for creative ways to give cash
My Mom is good for doing these things. We get money or a gift card in something like this each year:

They're like mazes or pinball machines where you put the card/money in and the recpient has to solve the puzzle. They provide a 'way out' or solution in each box. It's actually become a race each year between all of us to see who can solve the puzzle the quickest. Then I usually use the box again and give it to someone else when I give a card/money.
A scavenger hunt might be fun if you have the time for it. Maybe let them be first/last for their gift. You could put dollar bills on their shampoo bottles, under their pillow etc..
I don't know how old your nephews are, so this might not be appropriate, but it is funny.
FIL is a HUGE prankster. Last year, my SIL was going on a ski trip after Christmas so he wanted to give her cash. He unrolled a roll of toilet paper almost to the end and put the cash along the paper and rolled it back up. He melted a tootsie roll and pushed it on to the paper to hold it all together.
