Hi! Sorry for the late response, I haven't been on since last Wednesday. I was going to run the WC Turkey Trot but at the last minute switched it to Piedmont since we needed to be in Oakland in the am anyways.
How was the 10k? That's crazy you live in Martinez! What do you do out there?

10K wasn't bad, lots of cluster in the beginning but it was fine after the 5K people left
I managed a PR by 5:30. It was freezing in the beginning and I took my gloves off around the mile 4. As soon as I finished, I grabbed 2 water bottles and ditched the idea of getting a goodie bag (too many people around).
I/we usually go hiking in the open space, movies, and now that snow is in the sierras we'll go snowboarding at least once a month (I hope if not more). Anyway one of these days it would be fun to meet up.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Great job on the PR!! Man I wish I could shave off that much time. I'm not a great runner, but I'm really trying to train myself into it. I really do enjoy it, just need to get better discipline. One of our good friends is running a marathon in Sacramento Sunday and I'm hoping that would get my butt in gear. We were hoping to go to Tahoe on Sat and stay the night in Sacto so we could cheer our friend on. Unfortunately it's also the Civil War for the Oregon Ducks (and their last regular season game) so we both want to stay home for that.
We should definitely get together! Did you guys go to the snow this last weekend?
That would be fun! Just figuring out a date and location is the challenge.
Kaz - I ran CIM last year, and had PR there for my second full marathon. If you're going to cheer there, just wear warm clothes as it was freeezing last year (that and I was slightly envy of those standing around with coffee while i was running as i hadn't had any that day, lol).
