What's on your holiday wish list?

Re: What's on your holiday wish list?

  • A lot of little things, really. Like an apron, a garlic press, a lunch tote. One big item, a wine fridge. And one thing DH already bought for me: a personalized UT license plate. It's awesome!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • I asked for a new laptop case, a robe, Just Dance for Wii, and a couple other small things.

Jason's aunts have been pressuring me for idea, but I really can't think of anything.

I had been really looking forward to Christmas, but for some reason I lost that feeling. Work is going to be crazy in the next few weeks, and I just don't know when I am going to get to do any shopping other than online. Sad

  • I'm not doing very good on mine...

a new wallet, a watch, some slippers

My mom picked up some stuff for me when we went black friday shopping...

a scarf and sweater, a shark steam vac, an immersion blender

I'm waiting until after my baby shower on Sunday and then I'll probably add a bunch of baby stuff that we haven't gotten to the list too.

  • Mine are all kinda "big" things, and we're having a smaaaal Christmas, so I'm not expecting any of these, but:

    1) A sewing machine

    2) A new cell phone (possibly new provider)

    3) Everything on ModCloth.com. Seriously, everything.

    4) Toms Shoes*

    5) A Sony Cybershot T99 Panoramic Point-and-Shoot**

*I've never actually tried on/worn Toms Shoes, but they look cute and everyone I know who has them LOVES them.

**Sure, I'd like a DSLR, but I don't have time/energy/resources to really focus on my photography. Plus, having a really good point-and-shoot is just fine for my everyday use. And I LOVE the panoramic setting on this.

  • I've just started thinking and here's what I've come up with: a teapot, new boots and a new pair of black shoes. I also need a new winter coat, I have a nice one, but I need an everyday run around one.

I was thinking of asking for the Clairsonic but had questions-mamie & angel: do you have to buy their cleanser or can I use it with the cleanser I currently use and love and know won't break out my skin? Mamie, I know you have the Pretika, is that one good too or should I ask for the Clairsonic?

I've been using my own cleanser (Cetaphil) with the Clarisonic. I keep the little sample they sent in my travel bag. :) I don't know if it's the Clarisonic or going off hormonal BCP, but my face is already clearer than it has been in years.

Thanks Leigha, I forgot you had one too : ) That's great to know. How is it going being off BCP? AF just returned for me & my face looks like I'm 14 again : ( I know it isn't my cleanser (Cetaphil too). I'll be glad when my body gets back to normal.

So far, so good. Not much change besides my face being clearer (my face was clear before BCP, but was like a 14 year old boy on it).  I was two days late this month, but that's better than I'm sure it could have been. I've been slightly less tired for the past month. Other than the above, I've seen absolutely no changes so far, which is both good and bad.

I have one too.  I hated the cleanser that came with it, but I have super sensitive skin.  I use my own and noticed an improvement within two or three days.  I also love the body brush!

  • I just use a regular cleanser with my Pretika. But I'd probably advise getting a Clarisonic instead. I've been having some intense breakouts, and I'm not sure the Pretika is responsible, but I've been taking a hiatus from it and/or only using it in nonbreakout zones.

  • I don't know what it is, but I don't really want much this Christmas. I would love a Clarisonic and a subscription to US Weekly (my guilty pleasure) but I don't really need or want anything else. Clothes are a sore topic for me right now since I'm in limbo-land with post-pregnancy weight loss. I refuse to buy any more until I'm done weaning.

  • I really want a Pandora bracelet but I can't justify it. (I guess that's why they call it a wish list!)

I just want a bunch of little things - an iPhone case, Estee Lauder blush, a coat I have from Old Navy but in black... but most of all, a positive pregnancy test on 12/14!  (A girl can dream!)

  • Good luck CDobs!
  • 1. Kindle (check!)

    2. Electric kettle and other random kitchen gadgetry

    3. black pea coat

    4. black boots

    5. sweater dresses

    6. winning lottery ticket

Good luck Cdobs!! Here's to seeing 2 lines or plus signs on the 14th! (Even though it's probably a blood draw by your RE, that just doesn't rhyme as well.)

  • I asked for a clarisonic (I think my MIL is getting it for me) and a new iPhone (I have the first generation, and its dying a slow death)
  • My two biggest things are things that Santa can't exactly leave under the tree: a job & a BFP that sticks.

For material things, an IPOD would be useful for my workouts.

  • The new job I was approached about yesterday.  It would be more money, closer to home, and a lot more schedule flexability plus it would open a lot of doors for me for future career goals.

  • I really want a DSLR... I've been wanting this for several years now, but since my point & shoot is starting to go, I think this might be a good time. It's way too expensive to expect anyone to get this for me, but I may splurge for myself :)

Home Depot gift cards. We have tons to do on the house, and will probably need a snowblower before long.

    Sweaters/work-friendly clothes, mainly tops

Winter gear - boots, hat, scarf, gloves.

Basic stud earrings - seems like I've lost all of my favorites.
