Christmas Trees and Decorations

Is yours up yet? H has been whining about wanting ours set up already for the past few days so tonight I'm making turkey noodle soup, hot chocolate, some cookies and playing the Christmas tunes loud, in hopes that we can set the tree up tonight.

Ours is up.  It's not completely done.. I just need to finish a few ornaments and make the topper.

My new goal is to get the outside lights up this week.

We put ours up on Saturday night. I wasn't sure how our dog would react since it was her first Christmas tree experience.  I really wanted a real tree but DH had an artifical tree he bought on sale a few years ago and has never put up.  So we decided to save the money on a real tree and use his.  I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. We've collected ornaments from each trip we've been on so it was fun to put them up and talk about all of them.

we've yet to purchase our tree... hahaha. we'll probably pt up the swag and stuff in the next week though. we need to buy lights... ugh. h8 decorating.

i put up most of our decorations this past sunday. we're getting our tree this sunday and we're going to cut our own! i haven't decided if i'm going to put lights outside yet. i really want to but never have. we'll see.

Not yet. We have almost everything else up, but we're waiting a bit and getting a fresh tree. I love getting the Christmas tree. It is my favorite part of Christmas.

We don't really have room for a real tree and since it is just the 2 of us, it doesn't really make sense. We have a 4 ft fiber optic tree that I have decorated. I still need to finish putting out the rest of the stuff.

Not yet.  I tried to put it up over the weekend but my tree had lost a leg somehow so it was no good.

My mom felt bad for me though and there was a new tree waiting for me when I got home today. Hopefully I'll get it up tonight.

I put mine up with my mom on Friday. We didn't get to finish decorating inside and outside of the house . Hoping to finish up this wkend.

ours has been up for almost 2 weeks now. we set up our lights outside last sat and decorated the inside too. I love christmas time.
