I realize most of you being on the East Coast already had lunch so what did you have for lunch?
I am having a turkey & provolone sandwich and an apple. Yes, not very creative.
For dinner I'm making a spaghetti.

Re: WFL? WFD?
I'm very sad about my lunch. I wanted fries with gravy for I don't know how long now. I got a cheeseburger and fries and asked for a side of gravy. They forgot the gravy.
Dinner is sloppy joes.

My lunch was very boring...turkey sandwich and pretzles.
For dinner I'm doing bbq chicken, mashed potatoes, and some veggies - much better dinner than lunch!
lunch: chicken on flaxseed pita.
dinner: either salad with chicken and artichokes, or pasta with chicken and broccoli. mr. g gets to dictate.

mmmmm...making me hungry...
Lunch was a vegan burger on deli thins...We're eating out for dinner after my dr appt and then hitting up Harry Potter...can not wait...maybe I'll have fries with gravy...
Lunch: Leftovers of Beef Lo Mein
Dinner: Turkey burgers, green beans and brown rice
I had leftover chicken piccata for lunch and for dinner, we're going over to MOH's for "Wii Night" and she is making chili.
And FWIW, I thought fries and gravy were a Canadian thing. Poutine. Or something like that.
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
I do think fries with gravy is kind of Canadian, but poutine also has cheese curds, right?
For lunch I had a turkey club sandwich. For dinner we are having venison tenderloin - I'm searing it, marinating it for an hour in a garlic and olive oil rub, and then popping it in a roasting pan with mushrooms and onions. I am SO excited to eat this.
Lunch was a large bowl of peas :-)
Dinner will be who the h knows! Maybe we'll go out since I don't want to cook.
Ha! I just googled it and it is Canadian.
lol
speaking of whitecastle. That's what I had for lunch. You can buy them in the supermarket now. I know..horrible.

It took me a while to figure out fries and gravy are a Canadian thing even though the first time I had it was in Montreal. We had a week long 6th grade trip there and I had it at the only decent restaurant we went to that week.
Then I found it on the sub shop menus at home.

Eating lunch now: leftover chili from last night
Dinner: beer. it's been one hell of a day
What kind of gravy is on the fries? It sounds fantastic!
Lunch - Leftover turkey chili
Dinner - Leftover turkey chili ooooorrrr I don't know. Tom's hunting so I'm on my own. I'm getting sick of turkey though since I've been eating it since last Thursday.

Lunch: Jerk chicken and coco bread. Yum. Makes me wanna go to Jamaica!
Dinner: Quesadillas!! I'm super excited to use my new quesadilla maker!
I had spicy chicken nuggets from Chik Fil A, waffle fries and a Dr Pepper.
I am supposed to be making chili tonight and its perfect weather for it, cold and rainy.
I'm making spaghetti with ground turkey! I only use ground turkey for spaghetti, burgers, etc. I rarely use ground beef.
Brew- I think I need a beer too!
We are having a hamburger noodle bake for dinner. It is some recipe out of a Rachael Ray magazine that uses up the other 1/2 pound of ground beef we have in the fridge. I refuse to have anymore turkey for a while
My Bio
I could so go for this right now. It is the best thing ever.
There's different types of gravy? LOL Umm, like the same type of gravy you'd get with KFC mashed potatoes, only it tastes better.

tried to respond to this about an hour ago, but I think TN went down or something and I couldn't get in...
Lunch was leftover pizza, string cheese and some cheezits.. healthy? no.
Dinner depends on DH. If he gets home at a decent hour I am making spaghetti with the venison burger we have... MMM...
The people at the restaurant I waitress in that want gravy on fries usually ask for beef gravy. We have beef, turkey, and chicken gravy. On the 'good' scale, I would say the turkey is the best, then beef, then the chicken... sometimes the chicken one looks like yellow pudding. Ew.
debdeb - I didn't need to use any turkey for dinner! When I got home from work Tom was there!!! What a wonderful surprise!
We did have spaghetti but with sausage he brought home from the mountains. I was so happy! Still am!
LauraT - I saw your post about a quesadilla maker. Don't waste your money on it. They are a *** to clean because the cheese gets everywhere (if you like them cheesy) I use a flat "griddle pan" like this: http://www.cooking.com/images/products/shprodde/167194.jpg - it's much easier to clean and you can use it for other things. Just my opinion.
Gah. I missed this post yesterday. I now agree with Alison, though. I used the quesadilla maker for the first time last night and it was kind of a PITA. I'm not too upset since I only spent $10 on it, but it is a total pain to clean. It's like the stupid George Forman grills where you can't remove the plates, so it's damn near impossible to clean stuff off of 'em. K totally overstuffed his quesadilla last night and we had an explosion of cheese melted all over the stupid thing.
I also saw the donut maker and thought about it for a second then realized I didn't have arm space to carry anything else. What I reeeally wanted, though, was the circus animal waffle maker. (For the kids I haven't yet decided I want. :-P )
this is me too.
i rarely even have ground beef in the house, the only time i do is if i'm cooking for others and know they prefer beef over turkey
