MrsNolan

I see you had an IUI this month.....may I ask, and PLEASE do not feel obligated to answer but did you have to do that with Nolan also??

Re: MrsNolan

  •   I don't mind answering at all!  My husband has MFI. So we did IUI with Nolan also.
  • Oh wow...well, I'm glad that it worked with Nolan and I hope it's an easy process this time around too.

May I ask how many times you had to do it to get precious Nolan?

  • We got pregnant with the 2nd IUI. I really hope it works this first time this go round, but when you deal with IF you tend to always expect the worse.

You didn't end up doing any fertility treatments, did you? I know it took you while to conceive.

  • ::Butting In:: Wishing you lots of baby dust in this cycle.  When is your beta for your IUI?  Hope you don't mind the question, which RE are you using?  I am just jumping back into IF treatments in January and the RE I planned on using moved across the country and his partner is nice and come recommended but I am open to suggestions/recommendations.

Thanks for the baby dust :) I will only have a beta if I get a positive HPT. So HOPEFULLY I will be getting a beta sometime b/w 12/ 8 and 12/10 depending on when I decide to test ;) haha

We see Dr. Faber at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists. We like her alot, and have only heard great things about her partners too. I have 2 friends that see Dr. Johnson and love him. Where are you going?

Wow, 2nd try is great considering you probably tried for quite a while before you knew DH had MFI (I'm just assuming). I hope it works first try this time also. I'm sending you LOTS of baby dust.

No, we were VERY lucky to not have to go the fertility treatment route. If it took us any longer, I probably would have been on clomid to start. I already had my appt. set up to talk to a Dr. about it but then had to cancel bc I got my BFP. It took us 10 months....it felt long to me but in the grand scheme of things, that's nothing when I know people who have been trying for YEARS!! My heart goes out to them.

    Keep us updated, please! Smile

  • I had a cancelled IVF, and 3 IUI's to get my little one due to MFI and ovulatory disfunction. I see Dr. J at ARMS and love all of them!

  • I have been going to AZ Associates for Repro Health and I was seeing Dr Larsen and really liked him but he moved so now I am seeing Dr Patel.  I have heard lots of good things about Dr Patel as well but am open to other providers as I choose AARH due to Dr Larsen.
