That's right folks, it's December now.
I drugged myself to sleep last night, so while I'm not back to 100%, I'm feeling a lot better today. Also, I'm making myself hit the gym, it's been nearly a week and I just need to get'r done.

Time flies. But given it's 61 degrees and raining here, it really doesn't feel like December!
Today's going to be one of those days--just got notice that the other side of the company needs help with something. As long as I can bury my head in work and not have people bug me, that's a-okay with me. Last night I got home to see the our Dyson was waiting on our doorstep; I got all geeked out, then was embarrassed that I was freaking out over a vacuum cleaner. I am becoming my mom.
Tonight it's a gym night and then I'm going to try to power through the rest of the novel I'm reading. Then start another to see how many I can squeeze in before the New Year.
I took a PTO day today (great day too with the rain/downpour)...
We have our 1st appt in 45min, leaving in 15. We are then going out to lunch and running some errands since we both took off the whole day, so glad that when I do go back tomorrow its already Thursday

Good morning!
I'm finally starting to feel better, THANK GOODNESS. Through a combination of nasal rinses, Vicks Vapo Rub and OTC antihistamines, I've finally managed to get this darn post-nasal drip to stop so that I can actually sleep through the night without choking or coughing. I don't have any meetings scheduled today so I think I'll work from home again because I'm still coughing, and no one likes that... but I'll actually be able to get some work done today. Yay!

Where did the year go? I am so far behind, it's not even funny.
I have a ridiculous amount of work to do today - a grant report that is due today, changes to Metro benefits that have to be made before the January debit on the 15th, and a huge report due to the FEC tomorrow that I really should do today so I have a day to trouble shoot it (it's our first one).

I'd love to have time slow down, but I'm super anxious to see what next year will bring. I have high hopes for lots of happy occasions.
Today should be pretty laid back as usual. I have a bunch of stuff I need to get in the mail, though, so at least a trip to the post office will be in order. I'm super pissed that I ripped one of the boxes I needed for today, so now I'll be hunting or need to buy one. I hate buying boxes. Although, we just got a staples order delivered, and it looks to be just the right size. Fingers crossed.

I'm actually excited December is here - my birthday, Christmas, holiday to Israel and starting to TTC are all things to look forward to in an otherwise cold, wet and dark month!

ETA - I should also say that my MIL arrives tonight for 10 days. Apparently that's not one of the big things I'm looking forward to this month. Oops

Morning ladies.
I still can't bellieve it is December. I guess all that rain is finally heading our way today. Boo, but it is better then snow!
Today I have already had my first meeting of the day, and now its work, work, work. I really can't wait to get out of here today, I am hoping that if I remain busy, and get a lot accomplished the day will go quicker.

I am fighting a cold...again! It isn't too bad, just a lot of coughing right now so hopefully it doesn't get any worse. I am so sick of getting sick. Maybe I should finally get a flu shot.
We have been so busy this week and I hate it. The house is neglected, I don't really even see DH until bed time and we look at each other and ask "when did it turn to 11:30" and go to sleep. I hate that.
Hopefully this weekend we can have a date.
Today and tomorrow are my 'weekend'
I wanted today to be lazy but I need to do some cleaning, go shopping for a dress and grocery shop to buy ingredients to make soup for dinner. I also need to go to the gym or workout at home and it should NOT be running. Since my hip and knee are not feeling better I'm trying to rest them. Honestly, I love running so much this is hard.
This morning we got the news that our friend's father passed away. It was something that was to be expected so now we're waiting on the funeral info so I can get shifts switched around at work so that I can attend.
Wow. December. I'm definitely part of the "where has this year gone" crowd.
I have a ton of work to do, and really don't want to do any of it after how I was treated here yesterday. Apparently around here you really can't take a real vacation because you need it in case of an emergency, because they won't let you go leave without pay.

We're having a craft fair at work today, so I'm trying to sell a bit of my crafty stuff, along with salsa that my ILs produce commercially. Hopefully I'll do well, but it's only 3 hours in the lobby of our building. But, I did ok last year, and maybe I'll repeat.

I haven't even started on Christmas shopping. I was hoping we could do it this week, but Russ didn't come home from work. It will be another 3 weeks before he comes home so it looks like I'll be doing it all with both the kids. This is going to be a busy month for me too. There are 2 eye appointments scheduled, I see the dentist Friday, Gibson's first Christmas concert (that Russ has to miss) deliver cookie dough from a fundraiser for Gib, the list goes on.
I can't wait to hear about the appointments happening today! And I hope all the sick ones start feeling better soon.
I can't believe it's December. I am having a crazy busy month at work and am currently in a minor freak out about a soffit placement for a job. I drew it one way, then it changed, now I'm not sure what's what and what's been built. I'm a third party kitchen person on this job and it = crazy. I hope it all get's resolved today.
In better news DH's side of the family decided to draw names. Which makes me sigh with relief because they are a big family. Which means I only have 6 more gifts to buy and I am done Christmas shopping.
Happy December! I'm so excited it's finally December 1st, because that means I get to start eating my daily chocolate from the count down to Christmas calendar.
Hopefully December won't fly by, I have tons of stuff left to do to get ready for Christmas.

Ugh, Sushi, I want your life: living in London, awesome trips all the time, starting to TTC...awesome! (Well, I too could live without the long MIL visit, haha.) Seriously, I love how you guys are totally making the most of being in Europe with all your great long weekend trips! I'd LOVE to be able to do that - know anyone in London looking to hire an attorney and basketball coach/scout?? ;-)

Good morning & happy December everyone! I also cannot believe how fast this year flew by.. it's crazy! I am finally getting over a cold/sinusy thing so I'm glad I'm starting to feel better. Now if I can just catch up on some sleep I'll be good to go. Tonight hopefully I can get a little workout in and then try to get to bed early. I hope everyone that is sick gets well soon!
Hi guys! I am very excited it's December, time really is flying. I am very excited about today, school is cancelled. I never knew universities would close down due to snow, but apparently we've gotten 9 inches yesterday and today.
Now, I will be spending the day lounging around the house, and leaving to go grocery shopping and get our tree
