Christmas decorating poll

I like to switch it up a lil almost every year, so I just wondered if you ladies always decorate the same or switch it up.  Also, what colors have/do you use?[Poll]

We dont have a color theme. It's a mix of everything but I do want to stick to one color them and get everything new but not sure what colors. DH wants blue/white and I dont. I like the golds and the off beat colors but not sure what we will do.

Well over all in the house we have all sorts of colors but on the tree we have mostly blues/green/silvers and whites... we just really like the combo but i am sure with a bigger tree this year we will get more variety

our tree has mainly blue, silver & white. the rest of the house is pretty random. i'm switching it up for NEXT year. i'll go ornament shopping after the holidays this year. we've been using the blue/silver/white ornaments for like 6 years.  so tired of it. lol

i loving refer to our tree as Hallmark threw up. I have an atachment to my ornaments and each hold a certain memory. Currently I have gold ribbon on the tree but Next year I'll switch that out. Totally thinking red. It will go better with my Santa and nutcracker ornaments

we do a hodgepodge of colors too throughout the house/lights and on the tree its mostly individualized ornaments, not really any color scheme.

most of our ornaments are ones from my childhood or one's that have been given to don and i or dominic, so it's kind of hard to have a color theme. ours is just kind of a bunch of stuff.

if you haven't already, check walmart's christmas section. they have a bunch of cool ornaments in different color schemes like this and they're super cheap

Ah, thanks darlin'!  And no, it's not real, btw.  We used to go cut our own tree in WA, but decided to go the fake route when we moved here.

Thanks, I haven't checked out Walmart, but we did get a lot of the stuff at Sam's Club, so maybe it's similar.

It looks awesome all together!  Of course I'm going to say that no matter what because it's also my wedding colors...   LOL

Our tree is a peacock theme- navy, teal, lime green, purple and gold.  It's pretty non-traditional, I use a lot of silk flowers, feathers, glittery curly willow, glittery fern leaves, etc in addition to a million ornaments.

I voted other since we're Jewish and do not have a Christmas tree.

We do mainly red and white inside but multicolored outside as the hubbie loves multi colored lights.  I usually don't like multi colored lights but we got LED lights this year and they look great!!  He even lined our house with colors this year, I love it!

Our decorations are all sorts of colors. We both already had a lot of decorations, his are traditional christmas colors and mine are a mix of old 90s decorations my mom let me have when I got my first place and red/gold or blue/silver(I could never decide what theme I'm going for).

But all our new decorations we've bought together are jewel and earth tones. Maybe one day they'll all match. If I can bring myself to ever throw decorations out.
