Hey ladies,
I was married in CT in 2008, and am now helping my bff plan her wedding. She's going to be getting married in Wallingford. I was hoping that if any of you got married in that area of CT, could you share your vendor reviews with me?

So I was just reading this post scrolled down and realized it was you!! LOL.. Anyways tell Jameson that Music in Motion is a great DJ company in ct they are out of seymore. I used them when I got married and went to 2 weddings last yr that they dj'ed and they did an awesome job at both.

I just got married in North Haven, and I grew up in Wallingford. I got married at Fantasia in North Haven and they were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make my day special and are sooooo easy to work with especially Sylvana and Ivan!!!
I had Starry Nite DJ as my DJ and he was phenominal (Tom Salatto). He will meet with you were ever you want. He drove to Torrington to meet with us twice. He really gets a feel for your music prefrences and knows how to get people up and dancing!
For a photographer I used Video-Affair (Justin Appi). They are out of Hamden or North Haven, I can't remember which. He works out of his home and his prices could not be beat. The pictures came out fantastic. He works quickly and efficently and I could not speak more highly of him.
For a cake we used Kim's Cottage Confections in Durham and the cake was awsome, everyone was asking for seconds and the cake was beautiful and exactly what we asked for!

Make a pregnancy ticker
I just got married in Branford this past October. If you are still looking for venues check out the WoodWinds! We LOVED them and so did our guests - the food is fantastic and the property is beautiful...not to mention it was FAR cheaper than anywhere else in the area. We had looked at Fantasia, Anthony's ocean view, La Mirage, and Cascade and this was just as beautiful and cheaper, plus the cake was included (provided by your choice of 3 bakers in the area - we went with JCakes in N. Branford....the best cake I have EVER tasted and gorgeous as well!) As for music - we went with Local Motion Entertainment in East Haven - they were cheap because they have a deal with WoodWinds and they were great! We skipped the videographer, but for photography we went with David Frost Photography in East Haven (actually in the same building as Local Motion)...have only seen 2 proofs so far, but they are awesome! Oh and for flowers E.T. Evarts from Hot Petunia Fine Flowers totally wowed everyone with an amazing display - and extra shout out to him for working with me so I could stay in my budget and still have amazing flowers! And last but not least, we had Lillian Sobeleski for our J.P. and everyone thought she was simply wonderful!

We were married at the Woodwinds this past August. We used JCakes and Localmotion as well. People are still talkinga bout how awesom Billy(the DJ) was. Would definitely recommend them. We used King Vincent Storm for our photographer, and I cannot say enough about how awesome he and his wife were. we loved them and they took beautiful pictures.
