      1. Have you began shopping for Christmas?  Nope.  Not sure that we can afford to shop much this Christmas.  Closing costs on the house are going to kill us.
      2. Are (have) you getting (gotten) a tree? Is it real? Fake tree, but its up already!
      3. Have you begun decorating? Not much more then the tree?
      4. Any plans for the actual holiday? We are going to spend the morning with my family and then head to SI to spend the rest of the day with DH?s parents. 
      5. What is one gift that you hope to receive? Besides our house, which is our gift to each other, I am hoping that my family might band together and get us a gift card to a furniture store.  Otherwise, it will be blow up furniture for us.  :-/

    1. Have you began shopping for Christmas? Nope. I am only getting a few kids gifts this year. I don't think DH and I are getting each other anything. We don't usually do Christmas gifts.
    2. Are (have) you getting (gotten) a tree? Is it real? I really, really want a real tree. So this weekend we are going to look. If the prices are ridiculous - I am getting my fake tree. I am so excited! 
    3. Have you begun decorating? Once I get the tree, we will see.
    4. Any plans for the actual holiday? I am still deciding if I should host Christmas - if I don't do it, the family does nothing.
    5. What is one gift that you hope to receive? I am really not expecting any gifts but I desperately need sweaters so if I got even one I would be ecstatic. LOL

    1. Nope.. sadly.

    2. We're hopefully getting a tree, but it'll have to be fake as baby and I are too allergic to real ones :(

    3. No.. the decorations are in storage.. Need to go find them!

    4. Just making dinner for DH and DD.. This is our first Christmas in NY C and we don't know anyone to spend the holiday with!

    Well, we don't celebrate Christmas, but we do pretty much the same exact thing for New Year's Eve. Can I still play? Wink
    1. Have you began shopping for Christmas? Yes. Got almost all the stuff we wanted to for Sasha, one of my cousins, and... that's about it. Still have my parents, ILs, my sister and her FI, more cousins and aunts/uncles. Yikes!
    2. Are (have) you getting (gotten) a tree? Is it real? We are getting a tree, either this weekend or next. Definitely a real tree, it just wouldn't be the same with a fake tree.
    3. Have you begun decorating? Nope.
    4. Any plans for the actual holiday? Not yet, but we'll probably spend NYE at either my parents' or the ILs'. Hopefully my aunt and uncle with cousins can come as well.
    5. What is one gift that you hope to receive? I'm really wanting to read the Harry Potter books (yes, I'm just getting around to them!)

    1. Have you began shopping for Christmas? Not at all! I have to get started, I cant believe Im THIS late.
    2. Are (have) you getting (gotten) a tree? Is it real? We havent gotten it yet, this weekend we'll do it - and it will be real.
    3. Have you begun decorating? I only decorated the bannisters in my house so far. Fake xmas tree garland with white lights.
    4. Any plans for the actual holiday? We will probably host Xmas. I will be cooking and we will be eating all day. I might make it Mandatory Pajama Day.
    5. What is one gift that you hope to receive? I really dont *need* anything. Everything I need/want I already have. I am just happy to be with my husband and am all about the holiday. But Im sure he's going to go overboard like he always does. lol

    Just so you know, Home Depot is SUPER cheap for trees ($40) and they are gorgeous. Thats where we go every year. So, hopefully you have one near you!

    1. Have you began shopping for Christmas? I got some gift cards and did a few online orders.
    2. Are (have) you getting (gotten) a tree? Is it real? Our fake tree is up. I just have to put ornaments on it. It's our first tree, because last year we moved in to our new house right after the holidays. So, I didn't get to decorate.
    3. Have you begun decorating? I'm keeping it simple this year. I figure I'll do more when we have kids.
    4. Any plans for the actual holiday? We'll be off to see my family and everyone will probably be touching my stomach.
    5. What is one gift that you hope to receive? Not sure, I just kind of buy what I want for myself. Hopefully DH will try something. He says it's not part of his culture, but I learned his language, food and dancing. So.... it's his turn. lol.

     I'm a little late on the rainy day poll...been busy cooking the last 2 days.

     

    1. Have you began shopping for Christmas? Yes, I started back in September 'cause I didn't want to wait 'til the last minute with the kid coming and all.
    2. Are (have) you getting (gotten) a tree? Is it real? We haven't gotten one yet, but we will definitely be getting one. We'll probably do a table top one (with all the kitties, I'm scared lol). It will be the babies 1st x-mas, so we HAVE to have one. And this will be DH and I's 1st tree as well (even tho' we're married almost 3 years). =/
    3. Have you begun decorating? Yup, did that the day after Thanksgiving. I wanted that out of the way as well, incase Samantha decides to show up early.
    4. Any plans for the actual holiday? Absolutely, nothing planned for the holidays (being I will have an infant on my hands), but I told our immediate family that they are more than welcome to bring what they want here, but I'm not lifting a finger. lol
    5. What is one gift that you hope to receive? I want a happy, healthy baby girl! =)
