Anyone want to help me come up with a gift for jeff?
I want to get something that we can do for a standing date night. (Side note every timeI type "night" I have to re-do it because it is ALWAYS wrong.)
back to the point of my post... we need time just the 2 of us and I think that could be a great gift idea... but I have no ideas of what to do. Some sort of class maybe but what? or just get a bunch of girft certificats to dinners or something? But I feel like if I do that we will just talk about the same things as normal and I want something new. We are in a rut, due to so many things... we need something new!
HELP!
PS I know there isn't a cohesive thought in this whole post so if it doesn't make sense I'm sorry. but HELP!!!
Re: Christmas Present help....
Do you have a public ice skating rink nearby? DH and I always go skating on the frog pond in Boston (our 3rd date when we were dating) and I feel like it always gets us all giddy and it's so fun to hold hands while skating, have coco, and just do something different together.

Hmmm. If you lived in Milwaukee I would suggest City Tins, which is a tin of coasters, each coaster offers $10 off your bill for a specific restaurant. But alas, you don't live there, and I think they are only available for Milwaukee. But I wonder if there is something similar for your area, although you live in the country right? Can you tell I am thinking out loud?
Sorry I can't think of anything else.

DH and I set our "date night" for the 2nd Friday each month. We typically go to the same hotel lounge for apps and drinks, then chill at home. But if we weren't on such a tight budget, we would rent a room and order room service in!!
Any chance you can even have your "date night" at a local hotel or something? Order room service, stay in bed all day/night... maybe have a couples massage or something?
That being said, I'm getting DH things he has requested, or I know he wants/needs this xmas- so nothing too unique....
Do you like sushi? What about sushi rolling classes at a local sushi bar restaurant?
Do you have it in your budget to have a weekend getaway? If so, I don't remember where you live- but somewhere in driving distance with no computers, etc? Or maybe a short flight somewhere?
DH and I had ticket vouchers for a flight we had to use- so we're going to San Diego in July as an early 3rd Anniversary present!!!
I third the cooking class. It is SO much fun to do and you don't have to clean up. It also is fun to work as a team, and make something new and yummy.
Highly recommend :-)
