Okay so does TTA mean trying to abstain and what exactly does that mean? Celibacy or just waiting to make a baby? If it means the latter do they have TTA buddies? Cuz I think I might need one....

It means "trying to avoid", and no, it does not include celibacy, just good old fashioned birth control. I don't know why you would need a TTA buddy...

Have you been hanging out on the Getting Pregnant board?  I'm a lurker over there, but I don't post.  DH and I are TTA, but I'm new to it and have been getting lots of good info over there.  A lot of girls over there have TTA buddies.  TTA can mean any type of birth control, be it natural or chemical.

ahhh okay thanks for clarifying! I guess I was thinking more of a patience buddy. I'm not really advertising IRL that we are and its kind of a long time from now and H isn't into talking about random BOTB things all the time. I was kind of joking but I figured there might be other ladies in a similar situation.
