I looked for a get to know you poll but didn't see a recent one....my short story is we moved from up north to Scottsdale but are looking in Mesa/Gilbert area now to be closer to work. My daughter is 2+ and a blast......That's about all new, I'm in limbo while waiting to buy a house in the new area, but would love to hear what to do and where to go there, I'm a native but of the PV area. I don't know Mesa at all!

Yes, lol, I remember the welcome broom. What a blast those days were, we were so wacky! Very clever girls, I couldn't stop laughing. My favorite memory was probably when that chick came over from another board singing some song and though other boards either ignored her or mocked her we started waving virtual lighters in the air, swaying our bodies and scamming on the virtual groupies!
NYinAZ- The gtg I'm thinking of was at Benihana at Desert Ridge I believe (or one of those such cook in front of you restaurants.) I was TTC then, a bunch of us hung out on the curb talking afterwards in the parking lot. Either way, congrats on your pregnancy, I know you were trying for a while.
LOL Wasn't me....I've never been to Benihana or any of the cook in front of your restaurants! haha Huh...wonder who you're thinking of!

FMD - there aren't really any girls on here anymore from the old days (except Nia and me). Long story, but essentially many of the girls left the nest and we started a private message board a long time ago (I can't remember if you were around still for that or not). I'm still a part of that board and talk to a lot of girls on there and/or on Facebook though. If there was someone in particular that you wanted to reconnect with, I could probably let them know that if it is someone that I still talk to (and maybe help you figure out who it was).

Yes, Skittles, I remember that board but I was busy in my pregnancy and didn't switch over. I remember also that the nest was erroring all over the place and wicked slow to load, crashing on me so I lost patience when I had morning sickness too.

It's so crazy that I logged on here today.. I haven't been on in forever and I just had a feeling that I should take a peek over here today.
FMD: I'm not at the resort anymore... Well, I am quite frequently, but as a guest now. I left not long after my first one was born because the 130 mile/day drive was killing me. I miss working there so much.
Have you guys gone back at all since your wedding?
Destructo! How are your boys? I tried to see pix but like me you don't have the pix in the bio right now. Have you been on at all over the last few years? I think I left right before delivering.
MrsU- I didn't realize there was such a drive for you! I haven't been back yet though its a good idea for an anniversary I think. Now that we aren't up North any longer maybe we'll do that for our next big day.
Yeah, I don't have any pics up... I've gotten to be pretty private about that stuff because there have been several cases of people faking twins/trips on the nest, or ppl stealing twin/trip photos from the nest and creating phony blogs. Spooky stuff.
I haven't been on the Nest a whole lot in the last few years. I went off to the spin-off board and stopped coming on here, but a few months ago I started peeking back over here periodically.
We're doing well! The boys were born very early (@ 30 weeks) and it was pretty dramatic for awhile. But they just turned 3 and are doing phenomenally well now, adorable as can be and very funny.
We moved back to Chandler about 2.5 yrs ago. Funny that we've both moved back here
I remember hearing through the grapevine when your little girl was born, from one of the other girls that lives up north. It's late, but huge congratulations! I'm so happy for your family
Well, technically I live only 17 miles from DT. But my mom was caring for my baby and she lives up at Jomax and 17 (35 miles from my house) then it was 30 miles from her house to DT. Roundtrip = 130 miles... yuck!!!
