Help with annual Christmas letter please!!
This is the first year that I will be writing a Christmas letter. I just want some ideas to make it not so dull and boring.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Re: Help with annual Christmas letter please!!
I would just highlight milestones from the year & include some pictures if you can...
Did you take a vacation?
Get a new pet?
Start a new job?

Thanks for the ideas. I also found the idea of doing a Top 10 list from the year like David Letterman.
It's hard when we don't have kids to brag about and I know people could care less about hearing about our dog and cat. Haha!
unless you are sending to grandparents... really - just don't do it.
I know i'm not alone when i say i laugh at the letters... bragging about trips, new homes, fabulous things you did.... even worse are the ones detailing horrible things that happened that year (health issues, deaths, etc)....
people you are close with should know most stuff you did that year- and people you are not close with really don't care that much.... save yourself the time and energy- really - i'm not trying to be mean - just practical.
Ditto ditto ditto. Goldie speaks the truth.
H and I *love* getting them. But probably not for reasons the sender would appreciate.
Add me to this list. Some are nice to read, but most of the time I spend reading I'm also rolling my eyes.
