Is it just me?
Why is that everyone I know is either pregnant, have kids, or trying?!?! I just got married this past October & really just want to enjoy being married. Is that bad that I am not itching to be a mom right away? It's all very weird for me to be feeling this way, because right when we got engaged, I thought I would want to have kids right after we were married. But somewhere along the wedding planning, something changed.
Don't get me wrong, I abosolutely LOVE kids & I am so stoked to have some of my own, but it is something I feel can wait right now. I just became an aunt this year & I am so content with the only babies in my life being my neice, nephew & my friend's babies...
There definitely must be something in the water.

This is our first and we've been married since May '08 so we waited and had our "alone" time. I didn't want to wait this long but things came up and it was needed and worked out PERFECTLY!
Don't feel rushed. I agree though, feels like everyone is pregnant right now.
I dont think your crazy...I completey understand wanting to wait! Live your life, travel, enjoy being married...because all that changes on ce you have kids!

It's not just you. When we got married we just wanted our time together and forget about kids. I told everyone we were on the 5 year plan so don't ask. We've been married since 2003. Just now we are pregnant with our first. So i definatly feel like we took our sweet time.
have fun and enjoy the married life
some of us are just at that stage....not everyone is trying to drink the water though. I'm hoping not to drink it for another 8 mo or so
