So I had the appt for this AM to have my toe checked. Yesterday, I felt the appt was necessary because my toe had literally not gotten any better or shown signs of improvement at all in a week, so I was concerned. Decided a week of no change was good enough to at least ask them and have them look at it.
Well, my body decided it's a car. You know how when it makes weird noises until you take it to the mechanic and then there's nothing wrong with it? Yeah...
This morning I woke up and NO pain. Nothing. Um... Ok... I cancelled my appt first thing.
Silly body. Silly toe.
I guess it just waited til I made the appt to make me look silly. Next time, I'll call immediately after an injury and make an appt - just to stop it from hurting. haha! ![]()
ETA - I'm also going to the running store today to have them check out my shoes and see if I need to go up a size. Prob going to get some new socks too (just in case). Hopefully I don't go too crazy in there getting running gear. "Gear" is as expensive as it is addicting. ![]()
Re: Update. Running & painful toe
Well, hopefully new shoes and new socks will fix the problem for good.
Waking up and not having pain is one of the reasons I put off going to the doctor.. I fear it wont hurt as much as soon as I go in and they will think I'm weird. Not super logical I know.
