Can you recommend a good tapas bar?
Where should we book reservations for for NYE?
ETA: Make that 3. Will anyone be my NYE date if Jeff ends up on call?

I LOOOOOVE toro bravo. Did I mention, LOOOOVE? lol
I have no idea about Tapas, or NYE.
But, I would love to be your date if Jeff isn't. DH will be out of town then.
Speaking of tapas, today's groupon is for a tapas place http://www.casanaranjapdx.com/
Haven't tried it but it looks yummy. Maybe check out yelp reviews
Thanks bula! I googled tapas bars in Portland after I posted and several popped up. I had already been drooling over Toro's menu, so my Mom is getting Jeff a gift certificate there for Christmas. : )
I think I saw Casa Naranja, too. I would have forgotten to check Groupon today, so thanks again!
I've been to Casa Naranja twice and had good experiences both times. I've heard other say they weren't happy there. It's not a fancy place by any means; it's very much a chill with a beer in your regular weekend clothes and enjoy some fun food place, not a date place. Since the menu varies, I think it can be a little hit or miss. I think we're good at picking.
I've heard a-ma-zing things about Toro Bravo! We were going to go one night, but there was a show at Wonder and we didn't want to deal with the crowds. We'll definitely try it again, though! Enjoy!
