I found out this afternoon that my parents are moving to WA in June. I am so sad right now, but my wonderful DH is going to take me on a date to a movie and TGI's to get my mind off of it. It breaks my heart that they wont get to see their grandkid grow up in person.

i'm sorry!
get them a webcam for xmas so you guys can skype! my sister & niece live in california and i live in jersey and we skype at least once a week! my parents actually skype everyday with them. it's amazing since she was able to recognize us when we would go there and they would come here. we were at least able to watch her grow up 'virtually.' it's amazing what technology is able to give you!

I am in Alaska so its pretty far drive to WA:) I would actually be the one to have to get a webcam, they skype all the time already with other family. Its just weird, because they have lived near me all my life besides when I moved away.
